JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title        :           Dietitian

Reporting To:           Medical Superintendent

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, experienced, and organized dietitian to join our growing team. In this position, you will create nutritional programs based on the health needs of our patients.

You will also plan cost-efficient meals for multiple budgets and diets, educate patients on healthy eating habits, and follow-up on patients’ nutritional progress.

Dietitian Duties and Responsibilities

·         Evaluate patient lifestyle, nutritional, and health needs

·         Advise patients on setting specific nutrition goals

·         Develop a thorough and cost-efficient meal plan that includes healthy foods and meets nutrition goals

·         Coordinate with patient healthcare professionals as needed

·         Monitor, track, and adjust meal plans

·         Document patient progress and share with healthcare professionals

·         Provide patient with educational facts on nutrition to improve their health

·         Work with families, couples, and individuals to help them make desired dietary changes to their lifestyles

·         Present facts about diet and nutrition during community events and speaking engagements

·         Translate nutrition science into understandable, practical eating advice
