JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title        :           Emergency Incharge

Reporting To:           Administrator

Qualification:             GNM/B.Sc. nursing with work exp.

Job Duties-

• Know to handle-accident, trauma, or any emergencies.
• Know to resuscitate intubate and ventilate a patient.
• Know procedures like urinary catheterization, central veins access etc…
• Manage all patients at the casualty level and Co-ordinate with the appropriate consultants.
• Adequate insight to handle medico - legal cases.
• Good communication skills to handle the relatives or attendants of the patients.
• Check the proper functioning and availability of the ambulance both equipments and medicines
• Check emergency kit.
• Should check the proper file work in emergency
• Maintain the emergency crash cart.
• To identify the cases according to the triage codification and code them appropriately.
• Will be responsible for overall functioning of the emergency department.
