Job Title        :           MEDICAL SUPERINTENDENT
Reporting To:           Managing Director
Definition of the Job
 Hospital Medical Superintendent oversees the various hospital clinical departments and other related medical facilities including outpatient clinics. Hospital Medical Superintendent must follow and enforce policies established by the board of Directors. These rules help Medical Superintendent to plan, organize, direct, control and coordinate medical and health services.

Job Specifications

Medical superintendent is responsible for operating activities of a Hospital and medical staff, ensures that patients receive high-quality service and formulates internal procedures with which subordinates must comply when performing tasks. The superintendent also conducts the hiring of medical personnel and develops staff training sessions on a regular basis.
Qualification and Skill
A medical superintendent usually holds MBBS degree with at least 10-15 year of experience.
Since most medical Superintendent perform managerial tasks and resolve conflicts, effective communication skills and resource allocation aptitude are assets in this occupation
Duties

Hospital Medical Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day operation of a hospital. To coordinate the actions of all clinical departments and ensure that they function as one.

Health care industry knowledge is essential for hospital Medical Superintendent to successfully manage patient care and to serve as liaison between medical staff, department heads and governing board.
